dwarfpour
Dwarfpour is what modern engineers would refer to as concrete: an aggregate building material based on a hydraulic setting cement. Where the ancient Romans applied volcanic ash to increase weathering resistance, dwarves employ coal ash to similar effect.
Adding minuscule amounts of dragon's beard (literally hair taken from any of the greater wyrm species, down to hill wyverns and salamanders) increases the structural strength of dwarfpour immensely, matching the effectiveness of steel-bar reinforced concrete in the modern setting.
