This being a pseudo-medieval setting, there are a number of games payed in this world.

  • Bear Game: Called the Shield game by Dwarves. Real-world precursor to Hounds and Hares. More popular north of the Ebon Gulf.
  • Go: Same as the real world version, more popular in the mandarinate than in Yamato currently.
  • Hounds and Hares: Simple medieval strategy game. Popular south of the Ebon Gulf.
  • Lords and Levies: Lunistria specific chess variant.
  • Mahjong: popular Mandarinate tile game.
  • Pai Gow: Mandarinate gambling game using tiles similar to dominoes.
  • Reversi: aka Othello. Appeared worldwide between 425 and 435 IE, along with a number of other anachronistic innovations, such as mayonnaise, plant fiber paper, and the Dwarven steam engine.
  • Shogi: Fundamentally the same as the Japanese game of the same name. Played in Yamato.
