This is an old revision of the document!
Tenghuang: a horse-like creature the size of a Clydesdale, with massive horns emerging from its back just behind the neck, long enough to use as lances. Vicious and territorial, Tenghuang are a menace in both the Mongrel Clan territories and the Mandarinate east of the Gate of Han.
Tiger: Large hunting feline, well camouflaged for jungle and grasslands. Smart solo hunters that swim well and are adept at sneaking up behind their prey. Native to the Uruk Mandarinate.
Tigerdile: Start with a 600 pound tiger, add another hundred pounds of leathery armor and a crocodile's tail, and aquatic mobility to match. Tigerdiles do not give up on a hunt, barring overwhelming force on the part of their prey.
Toad, Bile: A three-foot tall frog-like creature with a fanged maw and only two, hind legs. Moderately dangerous pack hunters, their true peril is that every fluid in their bodies leaves difficult to clean, nausea-inducing satins. This includes the fluid they regurgitate at their enemies with frustrating range and accuracy. The lucrative bounties placed by communities near their nests are almost worth the aggravation of hunting them.
Tonberry: an amphibious goblin subspecies found only in the Crestfallen Sea region. Extremely xenophobic and isolationist as a culture, Tonberries appear to collectively serve the goddess of vengeance, who they speak of as Ugghileppe. Their strange holy magic is not to be disrespected at any time.
Troll, Common: A lanky, 8' to 10' tall humanoid with poor social skills, militant omnivorousness, and an overabundance of raw physical power. They also regenerate at the “perhaps you should have killed it an hour ago” rate. Natively prefer damp, poorly lit environments. While they do not actually turn to stone in sunlight, it is excruciatingly painful physically and visually. Weak to fire.
Troll, Stone: Also mountain or cave troll. Fundamentally a two-armed ogre that regenerates. Prefer caves, ruins, deep mountain valleys, and northern forests.
Troll, Wood: Not actually a troll, but a forest spirit that has been corrupted by some means and has taken on a physical manifestation. Functionally identical to a common troll, except immune to sunlight, and doesn't actually eat, merely beats their prey into compost.
Turbind: Native to the central EastFyre Desert, these massive predators are not related to dragons, despite their physical resemblance. Vaguely equine shaped with a six-fanged beak, stubby wings, six legs, a tail permanently curled into a snail-spiral, and a bizarre collection of tendrils descending from its hindquarters. An adult is 50' at the shoulder, immensely strong, and possesses pointed hooves that can penetrate flesh, stone, and most unenchanted metals. The scales of a turbind are hollow, and if penetrated, release a poisonous gas.
Unlike true dragons, turbinds do not fly, but appear to have the ability to ignore the attractive force of the ground at will. They can also spit offensively, which detonates on impact in a spray of rock shards and caustic bile. Unarmored, the rear tendrils appear to be easily sacrificed, and are possibly part of the creatures reproductive or digestive systems.
